Leichhardt: Cottage makeover

Client brief: "To provide a contemporary makeover on a tight budget."

A contemporary renovation, 'rejuvenation' for a period inner-west weatherboard cottage.

The tired interior and aged exterior hinted of design possibilities which could be achieved on a tight budget. The renovation included a minor addition to the existing combined bathroom/laundry footprint and a retro-fit to better integrate and utilise a small living and courtyard area.

An implementation of basic design principles, modern materials and a fresh palette of paints provided our clients with the confidence to sell well above reserve at auction.
