Alteration and Addition

Client brief: "Demolish the original carport and rear decking, excavate a sandstone lined sub-floor to create a large open living and entertaining space whilst providing an increased patio off the existing structure to newly landscaped surrounds and pool."

The excavation zone exposed the large sandstone walls from which new construction was developed. The new built form reflects period detailing in keeping with the original structure whilst combining a careful blend of contemporary materials and finishes.

The interiors and external façade was given a new paint scheme to align it with its new status.
